has anyone yet tried windowsPE on ux50?

Just in 320x320 mode, so no advantage over older CLIEs

It must be some conspiracy between Sony and Microsoft - so the 480x320 UX50 won't cut into the sales of all the Pocket PCs out there with 480x320 screens...

Yes, since PPC's with HVGA screens exist. :confused:

VGA resolution is 640*480.
Therfor, PPC have only QVGA screens - 320*240 ('cept the new sharp).
Our UX's (and NR/NX/NZ/T3/IQUE/zodiac) have HVGA screens: 480*320.

Just my 2¢...

golalmo: there is toshiba e805 with VGA resolution out => more PPC with such a resolution are comming out for sure
