The booklet is so vague saying that some Flash files may not work on the UX-50. Thanks Sony.

Does anyone know the requirements of a Flash file that is compatible with the UX-50? File size constraints? Does the Flash file need to be sized for the UX-50 screen dimensions?

Thanks

There have been many threads on Cliesource (just do a search)that lead to flash content, and the UX can play many of them. They don't need to be specifically for the UX, or a PDA in general.

The UX is noticeably slower with Flsh files than the NZ/NX.

They need to be Flash 5 and the UX will play MP3 sound.

I grab Flash files off different servers and some work, some don't. Just have to experiment.

Another thing I noticed was some Flash files try to access a web site, and this wasn't a problem with the NZ/NX, they would just ignore it, but the couple times this came up on the UX it failed making the game unplayable. Maybe there is a way around this but I never looked into it.

There is so much Flash content out there that you're bound to find a lot of fun, amusing stuff to keep you entertained. Size is an issue, but it seems most Flash files are relatively small.

Have fun!

ever try watching happy tree friends?

the intro sequence always had me poised with the stylus or return key.

also, in order to minimize the cancel time, you need to change the network settings to something that is easy to cancel connection. i forget which setting worked the fastest.
