I recently got a new computer and went to install my S360 software only to find the disc was lost. I downloaded the Palm desktop program from Sony but my computer will not recognize the handheld. Does anyone have an extra disk? I need the handheld drivers to get my computer to recognize the handheld and allow me to hotsync

I am probably going to purchase a new Clie and part ways with my S360. Since I may sell it to a friend, I would need the disk back. But I would consider loaning it to you.

I just purchased the TJ25 yesterday. Still trying to figure out some of the software changes. Anyway, I do have my old S360 as well as the disk. Since I am new to this site, I have no idea of how to contact each other. Looks like you live in the Chicago area and I am up in Milwaukee. Cheesehead with a Palm (opps, Clie)...has to be some humor there. Let me know what you think. I have no problem sending you the disk but without knowing you I obviously worry about getting it back. I do get down there on business every couple weeks. If you use a notebook, we could meet and just download it quickly.

If anyone else is still checking this thread it seems to be a common problem. I too just aquired a s360 from an online auction and there doesn't seem to be a CD or software...grrr....is there an online posting of it or could anyone give me a hand with gettinga copy of it...otherwise I just threw money out the window.

Does this offer apply to me as well? Can't find the original installation CD, as I never bothered with the Sync function in the past. Now that I want to do that, I can't find the box (moved twice since purchasing the PDA).

I also have an extra USB charger/cradle that was sold as an optional accessory for the S360 (S300,320,or360 actually) that I don't need if anyone is interested in buying it off of me. I just wanted one of them, but the only ebay auction I could find at the time was selling two of them as a package!

I just got the CD iso file from Savoirfaire. I created bittorrent files and posted them on a public tracker. I am hosting these files on my home server for the time being, so depending on the bandwidth requirements, i may leave them available for quite some time.

I also have extracted the bare minimum Palm Desktop for Clié from the CD so that you can just grab this if all you need is the Palm desktop and drivers. It also comes with intellisync and all, so really, everyone just needs this 13MB file.

Update:
Yes i know these are non-clickable links. I've just spend 10 minutes trying to make this bulletin board accept the url in a clickable fashion, it always messes it up badly (adds a space here, or a <BR> there for no reason. So you'll have to copy and paste those URLS. And watch for the extra space after "torrent.html?" in the URL that this forum adds as well, which i can't remove as well.

I guess people are trying to dump the S360 cradles. I bought mine earlier this year at a Computer Show, and paid only $15 for two brand new S360 cradles, still in the Sony shrink wrap. I use one at home and one at work. The cradles originally sold for $60 each, and I paid only $15 for the pair. What a deal !!! :D

Got the download. I did have some problems as I wasn't familiar with BitTorrent. It did not install at first and did not show up in my programs listing.

Hello, I see lots of people need the PEG-S360 Installation disk. I asked sony support for it, but they said I needed to purchase it and I had to contact the sony online store. I contacted them, and they said I need to download it from tech support. Whatever...

I tried to get the software from bit torrent but I think it's been removed already.

If someone posts an ISO of the entire disk, I will host it on my server for as long as I can. Hopefully forever. I just need someone to give me the disk.

I am at home right now, so once I finish downloading and then uploading the zip to my server, it will be there for anyone to get. When I get into work in the morning where my server is, I will go ahead and unzip it so people can pick and choose what they want. Also please feel free to upload files to my server using the same username and password, as long as they are related to sony clie stuff, and of semi-reasonable size (I obviously reserve the right to delete anything I don't think is appropriate or that I don't have the space for! :)

hi! i've been reading this thread and the links for the software for the s360 are all working fine. i have a NR70V, but i don't have the installation software. i tried the thread about the installation cd for the NR70V but there haven't been good news as of the moment.

so i thought why not look around in other threads, maybe there's someone there who can help me out. in this thread, many people have been helped out with those who posted the installation cd. is there anybody there who has an image file or zip file of the installation cd for the NR70V. i can't install apps or do much on it. please help me out. my email is lokbustayl@yahoo.com

Sorry for my delay in responding to this thread. I am the guy that responded several weeks ago. I just sent all five of you an e-mail offering a copy of the install disc. I burned a copy and it does seem to work fine. I'd be glad to send each of you a copy of the disc. Hope this helps.

I have just purchased a Peg-S360 Clie with out the software. I would like to see if you can send me a copy or work out something with me so that I can get the software some how. Thanks.

:) Thanks for the location to download the software. I was able to get it downloading without any incident. I have been looking for the software or the Clhs009a.inf Usb driver for about two weeks.

I doubt you can use the same disc. The S360 is so old... PM Cerberus for an SJ22 disc.

I have created a torrent file, go to http://web.utk.edu/~bware/Clie_s360_Install_Disk.zip.torrent and save to disk, then open with BitTorrent, BitTornado, or some other software to download it. You can search Google for BitTorrent and download a client, it is very easy to use. Once you download it, leave it open and running in the background if you can to allow others to get it!
