View Full Version : Audio issues

I've tried about 4 different ways to convert a TV show I wanted to put on my clie. But it appears that even though there appears to be audio, nothing can be heard. Then I though, what if it is simply too quiet to be picked up even at the maximum volume?

In other words, is there a way to "increase the volume" of a clip before conversion so that it can be loud enough to hear?

Oh, and I tried "audio boost" in kinoma without success.

If anyone knows of this problem I'd appreciate the help, thanks.

I'm about to try something new, if it doesn't work I'll still need help.

PS: Has anybody else even experienced this issue?

HAH! I fixed it. After trying picturegear and virtualdub I went back to tMPGenc (which gave me an error earlier) and used the same file in both the audio and video streams! Works perfectly. Its now up with the rest of my files on my ftp page at www.battl.com/staff.htm

PS: Sometime its just more satisfying to figure out something for yourself.

Like above, I converted the divx file to mpg by setting the audio and video stream to the same file. That way I get sound too.
