This was probably asked and answered before the Great Crash, but here goes: Awhile back I updated to Palm Desktop 4.1. Since then, the Memopad conduit in Hotsync is apparently missing, and memo changes no longer sync. Does anyone know the name of the conduit file and/or how to get the conduit functionality back? Thanks!

If you're using a PC (i.e. non-Mac) create a shortcut for hotsync. Right click the new shortcut and edit the command line by adding a "-r" (without quotes) to the end. It should look something like this:

"X:\Program Files\Sony Handheld\HOTSYNC.EXE" -r

where X:\ is the drive where your hotsync.exe file is located

when finished, hit OK and double-click the shortcut.

What this does: according to Palm, this is the command line to reset the hotsync conduits, no loss of data should occur.

Do you know of a way to get Agendus for windows to sync when the t665 is syncing to another third party organizer (Day Timer)?

Agendus for windows is only set up to sync to the desktop or Outlook, and I use neither.

Just want to say thanks to Burns. I'd lost the Datebk conduit for some reason. After following the instruction from Burns, the conduit comes back and works fine.
But there is one thing I want to mention though, you need to add one(1) space in between the command line and the -r to make it work.

And what do you do if that doesn't work?

I recently had my laptop and T665C stolen. Both were replaced but, unlike my first experience, I'm have a heck of a time keeping the sync'ing working here.

I installed Palm Desktop, then installed Intellisync (my company has a licencse) and then tried to sync....no go.

On my old set up, this worked just fine. Now, when I install, I get a couple of syncs and then the datebook and todo conduits disappear.

I've tried the suggested '-r' and it doesn't seem to work.

When I install all the Sony stuff, I get Intellisync Lite which is no good to me since I don't sync with the Palm Desktop or Outlook for Calendar. I sync with Meeting Maker.

Any ideas?
