No, it was a lousy review overall. The writer didn't seem to have the appropriate knowledge to do a fair comparison of the various launchers.

I use zlauncher and IMO it raises the functionality of the UX to a whole new level. With Zlauncher on my UX and having the backgrounds, the file manager, the ms launcher, the vms launcher, the tabs, the various tools, the tool bars, etc... I feel that I am on an XP computer system. Heck, with my cellphone my UX connects to the net faster than my desktop with dial up service.

That article just goes to show that sometimes people just don't know what they are talking about, or that sometimes you can really weight too much of an opinion of some of the reveiwers because they usually give higher ratings to their sponcers. I do read the reveiws to get part of the feel for a product, but I put a lot of my opinion weight on user thoughts and reviews instead of the editorials and articles.

it has some bugs... like when you tap a letter, scroll down and click and it lauches the app at the top of the list.. that sucks *** and I stopped using it because of it.

This was done by someone who was told to review them, not someone who USES them...

And it comes from Handheld Computing --- every since they moved in and trashed PDABuzz, they've alienated lots of PDA users. I don't trust ANYTHING that comes from them...

I've seen this thread coming up every now and then, and now there is a need for a new poll on this?

I haven't read it and for some reason just don't care what they said.

I know to me ZLauncher is one of the best programs I've ever used for Palm and It doesn't really matter to me what Handheld Computing says about it.
