Yeah, I am curious, now that there is a little more knowledge of the video capture aspects of the clie(cliepets spycam, bouncycam etc.) does anybody plan on coming out with anything that can record video at a higher resolution? Come on, the nx80 has a 1.3mp camera, couldn't it record video in at least 800x600? That would be really decent.

What do you have in mind ?

Check out the built-in Movie Recorder for the basic features (camera settings, data rates, places it can save videos, ...)

The main limitation is the image is always 160x112.

If you are interested in writing your own programs using movie capture, then I am working on that. I'm just starting to figure out the options (for video streaming and other uses)

It appears you can get access to most all of the standard movie camera features (160x112 image capture). Also you can playback MQV movies yourself as well.

The capture image size appears not to be changable at least for what I've looked into (not surprising since all the CLIEs support just that one size)

I think the Clies are not able to record a movie in a higher resolution. It would take to much ressources, which the clie hasnt got. Perhaps he is able to record in 320x240 but with 15 frames/second. But not more. I think 160x112 is god for video recording for such a small unit.
