I downloaded the MegaCalculator and like the look of it but can not access the menu, the up arrow on the task bar does not work, is this because it is a demo version. I currently am using Power One and like the log to check my enteries, is this available in MegaCalculator. Power One has a floating decimial and I want a fixed, 2 place decimial, is this available on MegaCalclulator.

Megacalculator should be a fully functional, time limited demo. I also use PowerOne Personal and it can be set for two decimal places in preferences. What version are you using? Mine is v2.08. I demoed both. Megacalculator is prettier, but PowerOne is cheaper and has a nice library of free plugin calculators. PowerOne can do all Megacalculator can do plus more. I don't recall if Megacalculator had a fixed decimal setting, my guess is that it does.

PS: PowerOne also supports hires+ with a free downloadable skin.

This is a silly question but when you are trying to access the menu are you tapping at where the menu will appear (upper left hand corner)? Try the drop down button in the right hand bottom corner, that works for me.

The calculator covers the entire screen, I have tapped where the menu area normally is and tapped the up arrow on the bottom task bar which in other applications raises the botton of the screen to show the menu area, this did not happen, the menu area stayed covered.

Did you tap the small menu icon in the status bar (on the NR it is the second icon from the left on the bar on bottom of screen). I assume you are using a NR, if you are using a NX, make sure the version you have is OS5 compatible.

The zip distribution is a little confusing. Are you sure you installed the right file for your device. For the NR, it is NOT the one with Sony in the name, that one os for OS5.

Thanks for pointing out the small menu icon, I had never tried that button.

I did decide to go with the Power One because of the Log; mainly I add list of numbers and it is nice to be able to check my work and the upgrade has a fixed decimial point.

Really liked the look of the MegaCalculator but I did save $5 almost enough for lunch.
