I am dying to find somewhere to find a somewhat good quality (ie clie movieplayer quality) video of Bjork's "All is full of love" but I can't find one online and I can't go onto p2p or else I'll be sued for downloading something I am not! (mp3's)

Is there anywhere we can turn to satisfy our music video and television needs???

Apple better make iVideo Video Store or else...

Unless you're sharing tons of mp3's you aren't going to be sued.

Agreed, there's too many people using file sharing for them to care about some people with a few MP3s.

PS - there's loads of hits for this on WinMX...

Actually now I carry mostly AAC (.m4a) and i only share my movies.

But I heard the RIAA is also suing people who downloaded dvd's, and suing for the soundtrack.

AAC a different music format? I hope you realize it's not the format they are suing, but the dling of music, which means it doesn't matter what format you are downloading them in.

iTunes AAC, which can't be shared over P2P. I thought you would have known that. ;)

Actually there are people with as few as 5 songs that have been sued. Also, it is just as illegal to share videos, movies and TV shows. I dont think it is really fair but that is the law. You think the RIAA is bad? Wait until Hollywood gets going on the movie bandwagon. I happen to know that they are going to get VERY VERY aggressive in the next couple years.

People are already finding other ways to share things, and I would like to know where you got info that people are being sued for 5 songs, because if anything, the person could go out and buy the 5 cd's and say they own the music. The amount you could be sued for 5 songs probably isn't much either. Why sue someone with 5 songs when you could sue someone with 500 songs? It doesn't make sense to me.

Of course to share video and/or music is illegal... But the loss of profit caused by not buying 5 songs is worth less than 2 minutes time of a lawyer.

So I do not think that RIAA is bad, just plain stupid. They may end in suing tens (if not hundreds) of thousands of people: the legal expenses will be far higher than the revenue recovered.

Just my opinion of course,

I was under the impression that the RIAA is going after those that are sharing their songs for others to download.

Those that are simply downloading are not being targetted.

Almost all p2p applications automatically share what you have downloaded... So if you are downloading, you are also sharing.

Yes, but those who use such programs as say Kazaa Lite have the option to restrict both the sharing of the files as well as restrict the viewing of filelists on their computer -- both of which I do.
