Hi all,

I installed the new driver and am not sure how to more programs to the card. I look in filez/clie files and the CF card is not listed there. Am I missing something???

Do you use zlauncher? Which CF program are you using?

I am one of the few that is still using LauncherX. As soon as I get a copy of CF Magic, i will let you know. Hopefully, it won't be as long as they state. >> Using the comp. upgrade.

I'm still using LauncherX as well. Like the launcher, but if there isn't an upgrade soon I'll eventually have to switch

I loved launcherX - but switched to Zlauncher a while back...no turning back now. I tried to help my cousin with her NX70V last night and I forgot I installed LauncherX on it for her....damn I felt so restricted when I tried to do things! ZLauncher has so much built in.

I've tried ZLauncher actually. I still prefer LX. Bozidar indicated that he is working on an update too!

Okay, lemme see if I can explain this. If you wish to move applications to CF or MS using LauncherX you need to drag the icon of the application to the Card Tools gadget. If you do not see your CF card in Filez, Clie FIles or McFile, then remove the CF card from the slot and re-insert it. The CF Magic driver is auto-mounting, however, you need to insert the card after the soft reset to activate the driver. You should, then be able to view the contents of the CF using whatever file manager you choose to. For instance, Filez, in the upper right corner, there is where you select which memory to view. It would help if you had named the CF card. You can still do this using Card Info. Unfortunately, I will not be using the CF magic driver. For some reason, it locks ups my NX60 constantly.

Fireman 54, Did you post to the PDAscent forums to ask them about the constant locking up?

I'm at a loss. I did soft reset and reinserted the card. Filez/Clie files still did not see the card. Card info can see it but it is not available to move anything to... geez.

Hey PalmGearJenn, Did you get your problem resolved? How was the service? Inquiring minds want to know? How about Fireman54? What were you using and did it get fixed? If so, how so others can see what is what. Thanks!

Hi cliener,

I havent got it resolved yet. Amir is very helpful as always but I have not had time to write him back. I reinstalled the driver files but still no go. Does the card need to be formatted first in some way??

I did not get it resolved yet. It is only when I use the AudioPlayer and MoviePlayer apps. My next step is to hard reset and install my apps, one by one, to find the culprit.

PGJenn: The CF card has to be formatted with FAT, not FAT32. If you have a card reader, you can check that by selecting Properties and look at the File System. It should show FAT. If it shows FAT32, you need to reformat the CF. Hope this helps.

What?? It's harmless. It's our pets at a wedding. What is the problem. Talk about over reacting. Did the moderator delete your sense of humor?
