We need more information before we can help:
1. What PDA do you have? (I assume NZ90 if you posted here, but ya never know...)
2. What connection are you trying?
A. USB
B. Serial
C. IrDA
D. BlueTooth?
3. By "CD", do you mean the CD that came with your PDA? Sony CD's are model specific, so if you have an NZ, you need the NZ CD.
4. Did you read the 'Read Me' file on the CD or the green 'Quick Start' manual? Did you follow the directions there?
Be more specific about the error messages you're getting.
The Palm Desktop from the Palm website will *probably* not work...
I have had no problem getting my NZ90 to sync on my IBM ThinkPad TransNote, but getting my wife's TG50 to sync on her Toshiba Satellite was a nightmare: she had a corrupt USB driver.
You can also do a search on these boards for people with similar problems. I ALWAYS do a search first BEFORE I ask a question: it's amazing what you can find and some members get prickly answering questions that can sometimes be solved by an easy search (though your's may be different...)
