Has anyone heard of a DA that can create a ToDo [in the Palm ToDo appp]?

Sometimes I'm working on something else or reading a book and I think of something I need to do.  It would be sweet to have a DA that I could enter the task, set the date and assign the category.  Putting them in a memo [daMemoPad] works, but then I've got to remember to take them out of the memo and create ToDo's.

You can use laptop hack or ptool hack made from the same guy. See palm gear.

That would be using a sledge hammer to try and kill a fly.

It takes hours, perhaps hundreds of hours to learn to use those programs and they are hundreds of kilobytes in size.

The app is all the way on the bottom of the page - I have version 0.235  I works great.

I have *no idea* what anything else on the page says either!!

I searched for about an hour and couldn't find a todo da, but that is a great idea. I tried the Paul Nevai options, but that is total overkill. Any programmers want to step up? ;)

Actually, I just noticed that v.2.35 came with McFile. Thanks again.

Here's a list of DA's from Muchy's website:

http://muchy.com/review/dasoft.html

You'll have to use Babelfish.altavista.com/tr or just read the names as the page is in Japanese.

PurpleMD - thanks for that website. This seems a lot newer and up to date compared to some of the other sites that support DAs.
Now downloading another 5 DAs... :)

I think Slap or SmartInput are going to be the easiest way to easily enter info directly into the To Do list without going to the program...or use daMemoPad or something to write then cut and paste....

I fail to see any advantage in using SmartInput over just going to one's ToDo or Datebook app.

The only advantage of a separate app is if it is a HACK or DA that can be called without leaving the current program (such as PalmReader).

At one time, Bozidar Benc (who wrote a lot of pop up hacks) was working on Pop Up Todo, but to the best of my knowledge, it was never released. You might try to contact him.

You'd have to find his contact info on another product of his.

Mr. Benc is currently not responding to LauncherX customer service inquiries, and I doubt that he would be interested in [or able to] work on developing this app at the present time.

I will have to wait until someone else develops this.  :(
