I have just applied a new screen protector to my NR70V and now the graffiti area is "frozen". I can use all buttoms and the keyboard, but the graffiti and the screen "buttons" don't react anymore. I have done soft resets, but it didn't help.
Anybody experienced that before? I don't want to hard reset:confused:

Why type of protector did you use? Was it one of the non-adhesive types? Perhaps in the process of applying it you damaged part of the lower touchscreen assembly.

If no one else steps up with a cure, a hard reset might be your only recourse...

Good luck.

PS - Is it just the VG area and below? Can you still use the rest of the screen normally?

I had something similar happen with a G2 screen protector. The weird thing was that the problem showed up more than a month after I had installed it. Removal of the G2 instantly and completely solved the problem.

This isn't a criticism of the G2, which is a very clear screen protector. I probably didn't install it correctly in the first place.

But now, my unit goes around naked.

Hi thanks for your answers, I used a Covertec "Screen Protector Plus". And it completely stopped the contact of the stylus with the screen.
I took it off again and everything is fine. I have 3 more of those protectors and would really like to use them, but am now a bit scared, that the same will happen again. What could I have done wrong when installing it? Or could it be the screen protectors fault?
