I would like to get a Wi-Fi card for my NX70V.
Do any of you know where i could get one or which one i could get.

I am located in Ireland so a European location my be best.

Also which card should i use the WL110 or WL100.

You may be able to use both, only the difference is WL can be also used on other devices like notebook computer with CF II slot, while WL110 is only for sony clie line.....

If you search for WL100 topics, you can actually find out that some places sell teh WL100 card for only 20 bucks USD. Worth a buy. ;)

I searched through the forums but could not find a website selling the WL100 for that price or any thing near it.

I did find an american shop but that was only a few stores and not on the web. It went for $20 inc Tax from b est buy.

If you could PM me the details of what you are talking about that would be great.

heh i don't live in the US, and here in canada i don't even think they have the WL100 on sale in my place either :(

I bought my WL100 in Hong Kong for around 100 USD before i came to Canada... so you might want to ask a few US peeps around here that have WL100 on sale in their areas.

I'm not sure how many people in the US and UK would ship to Ireland but you could always try ebay. They're around $50-60 USD.

Hey guys you should really stop with that 20 bucks WL100.
In fact it was a clearance in some best buy shops where the card has been sitting for a year or so.
If you live in a small town or smthng you may find some left but if your store is quite active chances are they sell the WL100 at the regular price...

Hi eoinm1,

Have you look at eXpansys' website? Although I didn't purchase my PEGA-WL110 card there, I've purchased another item from them and they were accurate with their inventory and ship date, IMO.

Here's the link to that product:

Note that their product description and SKU number references WL110 but the link and the embedded image calls out a WL100. Doublecheck with them if and when you order.

Thanks to everybody for the help.

I have given up on getting a Wi-Fi card.

€150 or $ is I think very expensive so i wont bother getting one for now.

I will continue to use my GPRS mobile phone and connect to the net that way.
