Hey loupiet
Great link...... thanks
BTW I don't know if you remember, but your request a while back for a fully functional CF slot on the NX , basically started the ball rolling!
It seems we are getting closer to getting the CF drivers from Sony.

Do you guys know what the felcia veiwer is?

Felcia viewer is a store value card viewer. Only Sony Japan website mention its function. I guess there is only a few applications outside Japan. The Octopus store value card in Hong Kong, I believe, belongs to the similar system. Sound like a gadget even I can read how much money left in my store value card.:o
chekc some of the previous posts. there are descriptions of the felica viewer as well as another demo of the nz90.

You just GOTTA wonder why some people find the need to post their displeasure of the NZ over, and over, and over, and over.
We got you the first time.
Just another seagull for the ignore button.

Larry trolls sometimes, too. He did a thread over in the NX forum that looked like it was for his viewing entertainment. Conjecture on my part, but plausible. Maybe he's just jealous...
Also I'm pretty sure he doesn't like Netfront...

Trust me - I scanned through his posts before I labelled him the seagull du jour. Once I can forgive, even twice. Over and over - forget it. If he "couldn't care less" as his posts indicate, why swoop down here and crap all over our threads?
I think that new Clie without the graffiti area is crap and looks like a label maker. You don't see the rest of the gen pop here trolling through that forum. We just mosey on by without a backward glance.
Notice how the OTHER seagulls have moved onto other territories? It's nice, quiet and usually productive here lately :) Kinda digging it.
My ignore list is unusually long though....(and it just went up by one)
Cheers!
Yeah, I caught the

I DO think there is a lot of jealousy attached to this model. Everybody that bought the NX & has no more money; therefore, 'I'll denigrate it to make myself feel better' kind of thing. It has been better in here as of late. I really look forward to the early adopters reports, sample pics, etc. I'm gonna try to hold my horses when they arrive at the local CC (if they do...). I love the looks of the NZ so much more than the NX. It's got that sexy black and chrome thing goin on!!! When I was a kid my dream bike was a black and chrome jobber. Guess we never really grow up!!!!
Go away Larry.... Take your Netfront bigotry somewhere else!!!!:D

Don't know what city you're in, but the local CC here already has the NZ in inventory. I checked in person and saw it pop up on their computers ;) They couldn't give me an ETA. Says when it's on their www, it's in the stores.

So are we saying that CC says the NZ is on their web site? I just did a check and could find nothing at all on it. Have you (or anybody else) seen it there out of curiosity?

My guess is that you can connect to a bluetooth enabled camera or Camcorder. Kind of a cool feature assuming you've got the 1G to drop on a Bluetooth Handycam.
Wonder if the American NZ will offer that feature.

Kinda of off topic...
But... why doesn't sony make those cool flash features in english and japanese?
I'd like to be able to read that stuff...
Just a little gripe, sorry for taking your time.

NOPE. Not on their www yet.
I stopped in the store - it's already in their inventory system (internal item no SONPEGNZ90) but at a zero quantity. Notes show they're on order but could not give me an ETA.
Says when they show up on the web site, the brick and mortars will have them.

They had the NX on the website 5 or 6 days before it arrived in house. If I had ordered it immediately when it hit thee webpage I'd have saved a day of wait. They were dead on for it's arrival at local stores. They pulled mine out of the shipping crate at 10 am!!!!!
Regardless of when the NZ goes up on the website, I'm glad to hear they will be carrying it. I hope I can use my service warranty to trade up. Thanx for the research, Littlesix!!! Now my daily visit to the Circuit City website won't be so pensive!!!

The speculation from the dept head at the CC in N. Olmsted OH (PURE SPECULATION - NOTHING IS CONFIRMED) is that the NZ when it arrives will have a 50 dollar rebate mail in rebate attached to it similar like what they did with the NX. He has my home phone and promised to confirm it with me (or not depending)
He seemed sincere, so I'm expecting him to call.
Also informed me that his store (probably company wide) will NOT price match some of the webfront only stores like we've all paged through in the last week.
Places like best buy or etc., (those that have brick and mortar) they will price match. those that are web only like techonweb, pcnation - they won't. I spent about an hour there discussing all the ins and outs with this guy. Two of my other posts were direct from the store. :)

That makes sense, the only way they should price match a webstore anyway ought to be via their website. A lot more cost involved with a brick and mortar. I prefer b/m's just for the convienence with returns. My first NX's camera died within a week of purchase, simple side trip to the store on the way home from work and I was back running the same night. Well, worth the extra price in my opinion.
That's cool new on the $50 rebate!!! $750 for a high end PDA and a 2mp camera- Not bad.... I wish good cases were available right away!!!
