I have the exact problem. I use my Yahoo acct. We need to find out what the SMTP outgoing address is for cingular.

Even though you're using the same ISP, they have different settings for different browsers. For example the setting they give for Explorer 5 isn't the same as the settings for Explorer 6 or Netscape.
ClieNut, there's a yahoo mobile that will probably give you better luck with your yahoo mail and you'll be able to see the other stuff that's on your "My yahoo" page. Try http://wap.oa.yahoo.com on your PDA browser. Thanks, Bev.

Thanks Bev. This address works on my PC but not on my UX50 withNetfront. I get this message: invalid content. (invalid MME type). Any idea what that is?

The full address on my PDA is http://wap.oa.yahoo.com/raw?dp=home&pdadid=%deviceid
I know I didn't type all that in initially so there must have been some way to access it w/o all that. Try it and let me know. I've book marked the address and it simply loads up when I click it.

I have an NX 70. I don't believe my husband has the site bookmarked on his. I'll borrow his later to night and test getting their on his. In the mean time, let's try another way to get their on your device.
I've just tested getting there w/o the bookmark.
1) Do you have a cell phone that allows you to get e-mail, alerts, etc?
2)If you do, go to http://www.yahoo.com/
click on Mobile and sign up your mobile device.
Test 1 works:
I've gotten back to Yahoo right now by going to the blazer home page, but I'm not sure if everyone can go there or just blazer browser customers.
1) The site is http://blazer.handspring.com
2) After you get there, click on more sites.
3) One of the sites listed will be Yahoo Mobile
When I click there, I'm on my sign-in site for yahoo.
Test 2:
1) Go to http://www.yahoo.com/
2) Click on mail. It will give you information to change your format if you have java script, or leave it if you don't
3) If you're browser supports java, change it. If not, leave it.
4) It will allow you to check mail, compose mail, etc.
That should get you to your mail, it just won't have the formatted sign-in site that you get through blazer.
Test 3:
Does your mobile browser have a home page that gives you various sites to you to?
If it does, click on more sites until you see "Yahoo" and proceed.
Let me know. Thanks, Bev.

They have Cingular SMTP settings listed in the discussions. Maybe they will help you.

I tried photo.mycingular.com as my smtp in clie mail and it worked. I was able to send out emails. The only thing is that at the end of each email there is a note that says "this message brought to you by cingular photo" or something like that. At least it works.
