Whan I try to play my library of movies recorded on an NX70 and NX80 they do not play in the UX50 movie player.

I get the message- "Cannot play the selected movie. This format might be supported."

I have searched through the forums and cannot see an answer- any help greatly appreciated:)

Using an MS Pro...

That is strange because I've done some files for UX and some NX people reported that it was working on their NX...

And the PEGAVR100K does files for every NX / NZ / UX...

How did you managed the files? With Image Converter of the UX, or just a camera capture with the NX?

they are mostly camera capture but some are also image converter files- thanks for your help:)

I think the camera capture on NX70 has 15fps.
& the NX73/80 with 9.6fps if I still remember correctly.
Then the UX supports 30fps on camera capture video clips.

If the above would have any impact at all.
Which I doublt, since the UX should be supporting all the video formats from the previous CLIEs since it has an enhanced playback engine. hum...

Jusr tried to record a movie with the UX and get- "Error occirred in Multimedia system. Movie Recorder will abort" Happens when stopping recording and makes no difference if recording to MS or internal media:(

wierd though, Shaun, because I just kept all my previous movies from the NX70 on the same MS which I'm using now on my UX50 & they are working without any problems.

I had an error message much like this on my NZ90 once, and it took a hard reset to cure it. Never found out what caused it, as I restored my system from a backup and all was fine. Wait a minute, I thought you just got an NX80? Are you making the switch or just rying it out?

Thanks - looked like a hard reset worked. I was a lot more careful with the files I restored this time and everything is now OK. THANKS AGAIN:)
