View Full Version : NX 80 out in Europe?
i was wondering if you can buy the NX 80 in europe because if was not able to find it in online stores.
Now what is the deal with the NX73 in EUrope, it has bluetooth while the american version does not?
If there is someone outhere who has an insight in that please let me know.
I wanna buy the NX80 and sell my NX70 just because of camera and design reasons but i only stay one more month in the US so i need to know if its out in europe.

The NX80V is not available in Europe due to Sony's commercial policy.

If you look at this link:

you'll see a few shops that will sell the NX80V to Europe. Shipping taxes are quite expensive, but it amounts to the same price as the NX73 in Europe at the end of the day:D
I got mine within 4-5 days after my order:cool:

Those are US-based shops selling NX80V to Europe, which is not the same thing.
You have to change the power socket (not a big deal), English is the only available language and you have no local support: if your NX80V is not working you have to sent it back to US ($$$); same goes for phone support. On top of that like you said, you have (or you should) pay custom taxes.
I live in France and I have an NX80V ordered via Amazon US; I paid it 480 USD, zero shipping and custom taxes, but I have been lucky.

I wouldn't go that far by changing the powersocket. An adapter should suffice :p
I agree about the support... there won't be any for a NX80 in Europe.
But why not find a cheap place to buy the NX73V/E and buy yourself a decent 1,3 or 2,0 MP camera. They are not so expensive anymore. You don't have to consider the memory card choice of the camera, because the new NX can read it (if it isn't a MS) via a CF-adapter. But that's my 2 eurocents
