I'm a rookie, but can anyone help me on this. When using Kinoma producer, I go to convert file and it says unabe to open source file. What am I doing wrong? I downloaded Spiderman trailer off of Sony website. Its now in my hotsync folder, dont I have to convert that using the Kinoma producer? any help would be great. thanks

You need TMPGEnc] (http://www.pegasys-inc.com/e_main.html) to convert it first before Kinoma Producer is able to recognise it.

I know there were some trailers on Sony's website that are already in Kinoma format and the Spiderman trailer was one of them. Is the file you downloaded have a .PDB file extension? If so, all you need to do is Hotsync it or store in on your Memory Stick in the /PALM/Programs/Kinoma folder.

I'm currently trying to convert a video in mpeg4 format that I converted from divx using virtual dub. I'll tell you how it goes.

It failed miserably, I got a half hour of white.
I was having the same problem as far as puting movie trailers on my clie. Some are in the right formate. I'm not to sure about the folder on my memory stick. I'll try again and see what happens.
