I also keep both Yishow and ZL around...I mainly use Yishow, but if I want to delete an APP I use ZL....ZL uninstalls APPs very well...gets rid of related databases and preferences similar to the way uninstall hack does.

I find ZLauncher allows me to
1)100% fully customze my fonts. i can change all the colors and fonts of my icons, tabs, pop ups, categories, battery, time, memory individually. It also shows the memory left of my memory stick on the Launcher itself without me needing to tap on anything. You can also hides the icon's title (just the icons are showing). I find this feature cool.
2) Assign hires icons to each and every category.
3) Has a trash bin. Similar to Window's recycle bin.
4) I can beam apps which is in the ROM (transferred using Jackflash.
5) Supports Power Jog(which the new Yishow doesnt) which I find it convenient.
6) The "mini" tabs on the bottom are choosable from a variety of preferences,i.e backlight on/off/slider control. Hotsync. Favourite programs, commons, recently used. Security......
So far only able to think of these few stuffs compared to Yishow. The only thing it lost to Yishow IMO is not able to view jpegs/bmp in the memory stick.

While ZLauncher has a lot of font customization, it is no where near the customization you get with SilverScreen. SS has the ability to use FontBucket, so you can use and TrueType font as the font for the menu and icons. I hope ZLauncher adds something like this in the future.

Well, maybe different people have different priorities I guess.

This is the very reason I gave up SS and don't have an adequate Launcher anymore. All the fontbucket fonts aren't hi-res and look like garbage on my T665. The only other launcher I've tried to be as simple and equally powerful is Launcher X. Without the Active Skins, I'm waiting though (maybe for a while, lol). I find ZLauncher to look very nice, but I think the screen gets a little busy, and it's not as simple to setup as SS or LauncherX. I find it a bit more confusing. As for YiShow-very complicated to get to to perform simple tasks. I find it has more 'clicks' to do the same tasks as other launchers. I have yet to try MegaLauncher 4.0 though. This is just my opinion so don't go crazy supporting you launcher.

Let us all agree to disagree, agreeably.

I had MegaLauncher 4 and ZLauncher together while I was doing my review of ML4. I encountered no problems, but the two of them ate up a lot of RAM together.

Yes, especially ZLauncher. Everytime you change a background, you will need to delete the previous ones otherwise, it will add about 200kb for each new background.

After playing around with Yishow for maybe 30 minutes, I had it down! :) It's much less cluttered and complicated than ZL and ML, its only peers IMHO! :)
But then this thread was to be about multi-launchers, not another "launcher wars" thread!
To that extent, I kept SilverScreen and ran it occasionally after switching to Yishow, more because I had money in it than anything else. Finally, I deleted it to free up RAM. If you've got ample free RAM and just like a change of pace, I don't think you'll run into any problems with any of the mainstream launchers! I would recommend exiting one (back to Palm OS basic) before launching another vs. launching one from the other. Not sure if it really matters, but it seems prudent. :)

That problem has been fixed. They have added a Theme Manager to ZLauncher that takes care of all that.

Theme manager is an excellent addition to ZLauncher, and makes changing skins, icons, and backgrounds very easy. Nicely cleans up after itself, too.
I always tried to exit one Launcher before bringing up the next. I forgot once, and all that happened was that Palm OS lost track of the sequence, bringing up the default launcher.

FontBucket also comes with a utilty to convert any font you have on your PC into a compatible font for use on your PDA.

Never works for me, always crashes. And the only hi-res fonts I see for FontBucket are for OS 5, I run OS4.1.
