HELP! Infinite reloop... I hard reset but when I restore it still does it!

Help! I installed AppForge Booster and a program called "ScurvySeas", a puzzle game, but when installing the appforge file with it, the Clie had a fatal error. Hitting the reset button did nothing, so I soft reset. Same thing over and over... finally hard reset, then synch'd with desktop, and it did it again (locks within seconds of starting up). I deleted the Appforge files from the Backup and (myhotsyncname) folders, and the scurvy ones, but it still does it when I synch. What can I do?

You'll probably have to reinstall all your apps one at a time. Something else got corrupted along the way--hard to say what.

This happened to me several months ago. I renamed my backup folder something else and hotsynched. Then I reinstalled apps one at a time, using my renamed backup folder as a guide.

It's slow, painstaking work, but it does seem to solve the problem.

Thanks... got it. For some reason once I was installing the last few files, it fatal exceptioned (had to set system overwrites handheld) after redoing everything, then soft reset and it's been fine since then for about 30 minutes now. Re-regged my programs and I'm good to go!
