Underclocking UX?

I was browsing through a T3 board and there was lots of
talking about using software to underclock the T3 to gain
longer battery life. Has anyone tried something similar
on the UX?

According to the brochures, the UX underclocks itself automatically so there's probably no need. From the developer interview, they say this is done from the CPU level (the cpu controls the clock cycle and shut down power to unused components all by itself).
