PowerLaunch is a hack (so no PalmOS 5) that allows the Power button to launch an application only when you start your Palm/Clie. Is there a PalmOS 5 equivalent? There are a number of applications that let you assign the Power button to an application, but the application launches regardless of whether the unit is on or off. With PowerLaunch, the applicaiton launches only when powering on. Once the unit is on, pressing the Power button turns the unit off.

Thanks in advance

Please:D

I used to program in COBOL in another life, but never learned C or C++. Maybe some day, but not today.

Have you tried AutoExec? Perhaps it can helps you.

AutoExec let you select any application to be executed every time your Sony is switched on. It is freeware and available everywhere.

Based on the PalmGear description, this is designed to run an application after a reset as opposed to a power on. Also, there's a comment that says it doesn't work with OS5.

So I guess not, but thanks for the suggestion.
