It says 570 KBytes of free space for a 256 color, low res game. Right now, that's unacceptable.

I love Micromachines, just have to get used to the controls

Cool, thanks for posting! As long as it will run off a MS I don't care how many KB it takes....

I still think it's a large file for a 256 color low res games. Obviously if it goes in Mem. Stick that's not a problem, but still a large file game.

It's large because it's a beta with lots of debug tools...

POOR control. It doesn't have the direct, sharp, connected feel of the SNK racers that it's modeled after.

illusions, tested it and it runs perfectly on my Clie T625. Its an amazing Micro Machine clone with amazing graphical details (every Palm game should pay that much attention that it looks like real games). Only thing which could be improved is perhaps to think bout a HiRes version or at least Clie sound support. But beside that ... the best 2D racer avail for the Clie.

Control is its weak point.

iebnn, not at all. Simply put the keys for accelerating at different hardware buttons and everything works fine.
One thing which didnt worked so well is that the cars explode too fast when they come off track. That should be more like Micro Machine, that the cars never get destroyed beside when they fall down of the edges of the table for example.
But the controls itself are perfect. They respond instantly. What else do you want ? That they respond before you pressed the key ;) ? And if you mean that the cars sliding at the curves and that you lose controls of them when you drive too fast through curves .... thats the whole point of Micro Machines, that you dont drive too fast through curves ;) .
IMHO its one of the best Micro Machine clones out there. But as everytime ;) : Doin some HiRes version with the same attention paid to comic like details (thats something Palm games developers often forget, that details build up atmosphere at a game) would made this the best portable version ever released.
