Weird problem,

When I install software to MS using Hotsync via WLan, the sync aborts and my NZ90 locks up, "Fatal error......reset". When I do a soft reset the same message occurs unless I remove the MS. Deleting the software (MS reader on my laptop) fixes the problem. Installing the same software using the same method to Internal memory works OK.

BT or cradle/cable sync works OK regardless if I install to MS or Internal ram.

BTW WLan sync is really really fast (more than 10x) compared to BT or cradle/cable....with or without software install. Could this be the problem when installing to MS....

BTW MS is Lexar 256 mb. If it makes any difference (likely not) the Sony MSPRO patch is installed.

Thanks in advance for any input...

Jerome

I am sorry I don't have an answer to your question - I was hoping you may be able to answer mine !

How do you hotsync over a WLAN ? I have not got this working yet.

WiFi hotsync can't use "install-to-card" function. You may try to use SMBMate to d/l files to MS.

To garydtaylor:
Pls read posts in wireless forum, you can find answer there.

Hi I have a similar problem with Lexar 256 MB MS. I used that to copy some MP3's and play them on the Audio Player and it keeps getting locked. It also keeps saying that it is trying to Access... and then nothing happens. The minute I remove the MS it flashes the name of one of the songs that was recorded on the MS and then indicates that the MS is no longer there which is true since it is out of the slot. I am going to get a new MS and try it to eliminate the Lexar MS as a problem. Will post the result. It could be that this resolves the issue. the one I have is a 128 X2 = 256 MB Lexar Media MS.
