Dialing "Wireless Lan" Error with WiFi

I am using the Sony WiFi CF card in my NX 70 for internet connectivity. Sometimes, when trying to connect using an internet application (AOL, AIM, Etc.) the application tries to "dial wireless lan connection" ....and of course ultimately times out. Sometimes, however it works fine and simply gives the messages "connecting" and then "connected". Is there a setting that is wrong or something ? Thanks.

Check your settings in the HotSync Prefs and make sure there is no phone number entered also.
