switch from using intellisync to palm desktop

hi,

i want to switch from outlook (ms intellisync) to palm desktop.
how can I do this?

0. Backup anything you don't want to lose - I'm writing this from memory! :):):)
1. HotSync
2. Uninstall Intellisync
3. Install palm desktop
4. [May need to do this] Install the latest version of hotsync manager
5. Get into hotsync manager select 'custom' to get at the conduit list and make sure the top four (Dates, Address, ToDo, Memos) are pointing to palm desktop.
6. Edit the hotsync direction by clicking 'change' by each of the four conduits mentioned above to make the clie overwrite the desktop
7. HotSync
8. Set the hotsync direction back to 'syncronize'

No idea why you'd want to do this though, Palm Desktop is pretty awful :p
