So what does this driver add? I was reading some of the FAQ, and it has similiar problems as our current hacked driver....i wonder if they copied something from the NX80...maybe that's an infringement on copyprotection (since they are selling it). And in their FAQ, they say if you hear static in the audioplayer, to change it to slow mode, or out of slow mode - something like that....i think it's similiar to the SonyMMUtilLib.prc fix....But who knows.

Hi Trayip, This is The Missus. It is a different driver that hopefully will be used with the newer clies very soon. If you check out the thread from the front page you will be up on what is happening with it. Since Ayasin has split off from Eruware (he was a partner, but due to contrasting interests he is no longer with them) he can legally do whatever he wants with the sourcecode. He wrote it, he owns it etc. All disputing parties are welcome to contact him personally via his lawyer. We have some other things in the works at PDAscent but we aren't going to make promises that may or may not pan out. I think it is better to see what we CAN do and go ahead with that. Hope this explanation suffices, anything else is really legal issues decided by the lawyers. If you are an Eruware buyer/ customer your questions should be directed to them as far as upgrades etc. We don't service the Eruware driver now, they do or should. Thanks again for your time.

For people who missed it (like me), here is the news thread discussing the new PDAscent company/driver:

seems like there's still no demo version of this app...
I'm VERY intersted in it, but i won't pay a lot of money without the possibility of trying it first...:(

I was dissappointed when it didn't offer a downloaded version first to test it out before buying it. Im a sucker and went ahead and bought the damn thing. I've never seen my NZ90 crash so many times. My Camera would crash everytime I opened it and tried to takea picture!!! Finally I had to delete CF Magic and hard rest my PDA to get my camera to work and to make it stop crashing. Im new to this whole thing so, maybe Im to harsh on them, but they made it seem so easy to use on "Palmgear.com". I got to stop buying crappy software.

Trayip, since it isn't posted as being used with the NX73/80 it is not likely that they "copied" or infringed anything from Sony. It is another driver written by the same guy that wrote the original Eruware driver.
IMBATMAN, you bought the driver. Did you ask them for any kind of help? www.PDAscent.com/forums They have a forum that you can ask before and after you bought it. Since you are new to the CF thing perhaps you should try to read up on the subject before you spend money on any software. They have several testimonials (by people that know what they are doing) that actually like the product.
Maybe you should try the hacked apps or pay for the $27.00 AA driver. Whatever you decide, try reading up before you purchase. Might save you and a lot of other people a few headaches.
