NEW KINOMA PRODUCER 2.0 (Why I can't support it)

Fellow video users:

I have just downloaded the new upgrade of KP.

REASONS I WILL PASS ON THIS APP.

1- No new difference in quality that I can see.
2- Trial is limited to 15 second clips (not enough time to see transitions and effects).
3- Trial conversions do not support audio in the new stereo format for NX70V (unit I have) This is one of the only reasons that I was considering this upgrade.
4- Besides the above, Kinoma wants previous purchasers to pay an upgrade fee of $19.95 (which is only available at this price til November 15). I bought version 1 less than 6 months ago.
5- To spend ANY MORE money I need full access to see if this version is any better than the NEW Image Converter that has an equally clean image and twice the audio.

I am planning on purchasing the upgrade tonight. I like to have several options on palm os video. I already bought tealmovie, and kinoma version 1. I think the $19.99 upgrade price is a bit steep considering tealpoint offers buy once free upgrades option. But I'll post my results when I purchase the program.

mmplayer is much better in my opinion since it can uses straight divx files. I use Dr Divx to convert to settings and size suitable for palm and clie devicec plus you get higher quality and lower video size.

what i meant by lower video size I actually meant smaller file size. had to clear that up.

I am very upset they are offering such a pathetic upgrade price. It is the same price I purchased it for during the very week they released v.1. Why bother calling it an upgrade price? Why not call it ... "we're screwing all of you who have kept us in business" price. V.1 was/is a great product, so I'm suprised they did this.

I can't support developers who don't support their customers. Perhaps they will have a change of heart and drop it to a reasonable $10 ... or do what MOST developers do and offer it FOR FREE!

Yea i was hoping to be able to try out kinoma 2 but it is very limited i didnt even try it i just deleted it.

I'm kinda unsure about buying KP2. I will have an SJ33 soon and anything is better than Picturegear.

Just an update. I haven't purchased kinoma 2 yet. I am seriously considering purchasing a mmplayer key instead because of what it offers. Yes mmplayer supports UX50/40. Also yes kinoma producer converts flash movies but it does not convert the audio or any interactivity in them

I think Kinoma producer 2.0 is a great improvement, but Im not paying another $20, thats pathetic, Screw them, we go and actually BUY the first one, not crack it, and they only give us $10 off? in the future I will pirate most of their software, just cause they've basically screwed over their customers, i mean, they want me to pay like Over $40 total, and kiddies all over the internet have pirated kinoma producer, cant they show some loyalty?

Are stupid or what??? The guy wants a FREE serial number, just mine Kinoma Producer 1.XX. I just can´t wait till I get a SUPER discount on the new Kinoma Producer 2.XX, I mean... FREE SERIAL NUMBER would better describe what I´m searching for but... anyway... foruns that PRETEND everyone is saint and never pirate no ****... well, they SUCK!!! Like this one...

By the way... NOBODY deserves Sony´s products.... They suck... They´re not compatible with Palm Sound API... You have to use Sony proprietary and silly Memory Cards (much bigger than SDs, for instance) and those sticks SUCK as any $ony **** available..
