Just Wanted To Say Hello and Offer Some Information

I am new to the Clie world, having switched from a Palm 505. Never thought I'd buy a non-Palm, but now that I got a Sony, I ain't looking back.

Whoops, the information I have to offer is that people should check stores like Best Buy and Circuit City for clearanances on NR series. I picked up an Open Box NR70 from Best Buy. The unit was in perfect shape, never even used, but the software was missing.

I got it for (and no this is not a misprint) $129.99. I have been looking in this area and I have not seen a deal this good, but I have seen them under $300 for open boxes.

That is a great deal. Usually the Open Box Buys, esp. at Best [Worst] Buy are either just a tiny bit less than a regular new unit, or they are in such beat condition that they are not even worth the hulk of the unit.

It was funny because when the kid removed the box, he looked at the price and said he had to go ask his manager. I thought maybe I would not get the price, but I lucked out.
