Has anyone tried it on the UX series yet?

Yup, a whole bunch of us have tried it. You might want to look here (http://www.cliesource.com/forums/showthread.php?s=&threadid=27469). It hink the general concensus was that the MMplayer worked, but it's playback was not nearly as smooth as the Sony Movie Player app. However, it's more robust as to what it can play.

The developer has been known to pop in on the forums occasionally, and has answered a bunch of questions. I think we are all looking for a UX optimized version of MMplayer!
