We can't beam!

I have a PEG-NR70V/E. My wife was so jealous, I had to buy her a PEG-T675C.

We just cannot get them to beam anything to each other. Beam Receive is set to 'on' on both machines, and we are following the instructions in the manual.

Either it is broke, or I have missed something.

Any ideas?

I know with my own T615 and a few of my friends as well in order to do the first beam we had to do a soft reset first, and then everything has been working fine since then!

I had to do a soft reset on my T615 and T665 to get the beam receive to work. I don't know if this is true with all of them but I have seen others post the same thing. Can't hurt to try.

I had similar problems beaming from my NX60 to a T665C. The solution was to install the system update on the T665C. You can get it from the Sony support page

I've seen this happen with several Clies, like the SJ30 and NR70V. I always discovered it when the device was new from the factory, it doesn't crop up later. Doing a hard reset fixed it every time.
