NR ROM restore?

Hey,

I've owned the NR70v for about 6 hours and I already have problems! I bought the unit second hand, and seem to be missing the memo pad app. From what I understand, the previous owner used JackSprat to delete the app out of flash. However when I try to reinstall another copy of memo pad, I get a log report stating that it already exists on the device. So I tried using Filez off my old PDA and found the file, but I can't delete it! From reading other posts.....I believe it may be a 'stub' that JackSprat left behind... I was hoping that someone could help me obtain an original ROM backup for the NR70v. I think it would be better that way... just to start clean knowing that nothing else was tampered with. Please help a poor noob out.

If you let me know what your email address is I can send you a zipped file of the ROM backup I took using Jacksprat.

You will probably need Jacksprat to reload it to your Clie.

I have the NR70, not the NR70v so I am not sure if this would be of any help to you.

Are you sure the MemoPad app was actually deleted out of ROM, or was the launch icon just hidden?

i'm certain it was deleted; when i press the memo pad hard button, it specifically says "This application has been removed by jacksprat". Silverback, my email is jack_the_ups_guy@hotmail.com

do these apps work with nx70v? I want to remove the cliealbum and a few others from my NX, anything I definitly shoud not remove?
