NX73V - no flash???

Hi, because my NX70 is broken (due to our cat) I bought a Clíe NX73V. I thought: aha, an NX70V with additional bluetooth and handwriting recognition! So far so good. But, what a bad surprise when I installed JackFlash (3.07 Beta). JackFlash said: no flash old chum!
What nw. I cannot believe that!

You should have bought NX80V, Jackflash gives you 15Mb of flash memory, yes, you read well... 15 MB!!!!

Hm, OK the device is about double the price... but thats no answer to my question

Not sure if the Flash situation on the European model is different, but the US model of the NX73 works with JackFlash 3.0b10. I get over 12M free flash on mine. In fact, I have everything that I can think of to put in flash (except for games which I have on a MS) an I still have 10M left.

Given that the NX73/E has bluetooth, etc., I wouldn't be surprised if there was less (but 0?!?) flash.

you have to download the latest beta version of JackFlash(3.10b) which supports the new NX73. It will free plenty of flash (over 12MB);-))

Flash from other countries has about the same. The main exception are the japanese ones that only have about 5mb.

I just downloaded JackFlash_Light 3.10: that PRG only frees uo 255K. That not much.
Do anybody know where to download the regular application?

I get roughly 12MB free of Flash ROM on my NX73V/E.

Thx a lot for all who encouraged me: I downloaded the full version of JackFlash and really got 11.775 megs of free flash!
Thats so much more that I had with the NX70V (appr.2.2 megs)
Now I can run Beyond Contacts (mostly all apps) in flsh and a reasonable amount of RAM (> 8 meg) remain!
