Does anyone know of an app that can test the speed of your Graffiti entry. I would like a test that I can load onto my Clie to be able to accurately evaluate my data entry speed utilizing Graffiti the NX keyboard or other data input apps.

There are also some games to enhance your speed, but I am not sure if all of them give WPM statistics (e.g. T-Blaster, Giraffe, Letris, et. al.)
Some graffitti 'tweakers' such as TealScript, and graffiti replacements such as Fitaly and MessagEase may give statistical info too.

TealScript maintains writing statistics. It shows the average nr of character per minute (120 to 140 in my case) and the number of unrecognized and corrected character in percent. TealScript has a full functional demo.

ps: for me editing text is quicker using grafity then using the thumbboard, in case you have to jump to different parts of the text using the pen.
27 with G1 and 59 with thumboard. that's why I love the UXs keyboard :-)

That's quite interesting as I had permanent grafitty-writing-area problems with my last clie's and caught an I on the UX50.
Could you (or someone else) please get me a character p. minute number?
I use tealscript statistics to count, it has no word count. I usually write 120 to 140 chars per minute.
Do you think the thumbboard holds more than 12 months on heavy using?

i don't have a character per minute statistic because i use WPM, not tealscript. sorry.
as for your other question, im in the 14th month will my NX70v. still works perfectly, and i use the thumboard for about an hour and a half per day at school and another half hour at home.

You can use the freeware FitalyLetris:

This was used in the Dom Perignon speed tests. See the page for speed comparisons at
