I downloaded BtToggle from Palmgear and it works great!!!

No more Blue Light flicking on my NX73 (euro version)!!!!

The link is as follows: http://www.palmgear.com/index.cfm?fuseaction=software.showsoftware&sid=40C5F0DD-EDF1-4692-B0F07A2D4D6763B9&prodID=46427

Thank you polimedia for recommending the solution!

BtToggle recognizes when I am going to use Bluetooth. It turns on when I go to send an SMS message, check Clie Mail or go online! It turns off immediately after I disconnect or hit the home icon on my clie.

I have always used BtToggle starting from my T|T, NZ90 and now my NX73V/E. However, I haven't had the sufficient time to test the latest version.

So boofus, does it really turn off the "Blue" light? Or by that you mean that you add your application to the "application using bluetooth" list in order for it to turn on/off bluetooth when necessary? I will be honest, that "blue" light doesn't bother me much, since I dont really hang out with my Clie at nights, when it's more noticiable, none the less, it would be good to know and have that feature.

I didn't have to add any applications to the list. It recognized them all itself.

Yes, it turns off the light itself. Additionally, it helps disconnect the bluetooth connection with my phone faster when I end my application!

Well actually it does not really care of the blue light, but it is VERY smart in managing the BT connections. You are not supposed to add any application (I tried the previous version and I found it pretty useless as most of the frequently used aps can have the need to access BT) this version automatically starts BT only when the app really requires it. This means power saving and of course seeing the blue light when it is really working (making it pretty useful).
The only drawback, for me, is that it is not smart enough to fool Versamail and if you leave auto get mail enabled it does not fetch mail automatically even if you do it on a WIFI connection. I am pretty sure this is due to the unusual (for a Sony device) way it handles the connections.
Apart from that version 2 is a really incredible upgrade over 1.8 and it makes it worht buying (considering also the Cliesource 10% rebate at Palmgear :)
