I asked for advice on this forum about music, and complained about the pathetic lack of instructions in the brain dead NX70 instruction book and someone kindly answered, but said the advice theygave me was simple .

If it's so simple why isn't it in the documents (and that includes the digital software guide)?

Incidentally thanks for giving the advice about putting the stuff in the MS audio folders-but it didn't work. And typically the system won't tell me what I'm doing wrong or the system is doing wrong-is there a website out there for this?

I always thought that memory stick music would be simple: ie you transfer the music to the memory stick and the software does the rest. We pay a lot of money for Clies and then find ourselves trying to manipulate clunky software for which we are given no clear instructions.

Incidentally I'm not a technophobe: I own several Vaios and a desktop and previously ownede a Psion Revo (an over-hyped gadget that is nowhere near the CLie in quality. Nor am I an gnoramus-I have several degrees from elite universities and yet time and time again I find myself up against the same problem-software that isn't fully developed and instruction books written by people who should not be allowed near the English language. We need a debate on this.
