Does this model has a softwere that will play Mpeg clips, the ones that you can record with sony handycams? Or do I have to convert these clips with Kinoma Producer inorder to watch them on the TJ35?

This is a very disappointing PDA now that I have learned that the speaker is hardly audible. I have a T665 and have grown accustom to actually being able to hear my PDA when the alarm goes off. I hope Sony gets their act together and finally come out with a true TG50 replacement and one that is a high quality competitor to the TT3. If it has any level of quality it will be the winner in my book all the way around.

Is the ROM of TJ35 flashable?

I read somewhere that it is

I have asked Brayder if they will support the ROM. I have not heard anything back from them on the ROM, but I will email them again. I am almost a 100% sure that the TJ's will not be able to use JackSprat (delete programs from the Flash), but they are usually good on adding to the available ROM (JackFlash).

I did want to add one thing... Sony actually responded to me and told me that they will work to fix some things. Look their reply below:

"Response (Steve) - 10/19/2003 12:46 AM
Thank you for contacting us with your query regarding the TJ series CLIE handhelds.

The speaker in the PEG-TJ35 is the the same as the PEG-TJ25.

Sony's Product Design and Devlopment team is working at designing new products and upgrading existing new ones based on the feedback that we receive from our customers. Please rest assured that your suggestion will be forwarded to the appropriate department."

I hope they will do so for the TJ35 or the TG50 (with VG and more RAM!).

Hey riversen,
appreciate your posts, but please don't post the same message in more than one thread.

Much like myself, I read some posts in one thread and don't read others in other threads. Because of this, if the information is relevant to the thread, I think it is important to post there. If it is not, then I won't. I have included that email in more than post because I felt that it was relevant. I would suspect that there might be others much like myself who do not read all posts in all threads in all of the forums... ;) Of course, if everyone does, then please let me know and I will refrain from what may in fact be duplicating a thread. I know that I personally would appreciate the info from another thread if it was relevant to the thread that I am following. Just my 2 cents (maybe almost one with the inflation). :)
