Application Description:
Xforcer is robust and advanced PalmOS® security application. Xforcer implements the industry standard AES 256 bits encryption algorithm and SHA1 hashing technologies. Application databases are encrypted and decrypted transparently without any user intervention. The PalmOS® handheld is locked until the correct passphrase is entered before the handheld is unlocked. All passphrase entries are masked from the public view. Xforcer has the traditional text passphrase entry and the new keypad passphrase entry. Application alarms are handle properly by Xforcer and with the Xforcer reminder alarm feature you can be sure that you will never miss your alarms. Xforcer is compatible with PalmOS® 4.0 and higher including PalmOS® 5.0 Palm® Tungsten T and Sony® NX.

Why use Xforcer?

Information stored on your Palm handheld is not secure. Data are not encrypted and can easily be stolen. It only takes a few seconds to beam your entire Address Book to another device. Even if your Palm handheld is locked there are ways to get the data. By using encryption it gives you a new level of security. What makes Xforcer better than the PalmOS® Security application and other 3rd party security applications on the market?

Xforcer is the only PalmOS® application that uses the AES 256 bits encryption that works with PalmOS® 5.0 and higher.
SHA1 hashing
Compatible with PalmOS® 4.0 and higher.
Records are encrypted and not just masked.1

Yea. It seems good. No hard resets or even soft ones... It does offer the encryption, but seems to do it too quickly I think. Maybe the demo doesn't go through with it. I don't know. It does say something about OS 5 using that certain encryption, but does that mean OS4.0-4.1 do not get any encryption at all??? It said HiRes as it is not on my 615. That is all I have so far. And my last post had a little sarcasm:rolleyes:

Could you spell out exactly what makes this better than PDS Defense Pro? Aside from 256bit encryption vs 128bit. How does it do on encrypting information on the card?

I cannot as I am a loyal user of TealLock and nor did I make any such claim:) You can e-mail the company and also try the application out for yourself;)

I couldn't get it working on my NX. Has anyone been successful in doing so?
