View Full Version : MobiPocket PID and new PDA blues

I have several Ebooks that I purchased for MobiPocket to read on my Clie. The site I purchased them from required the PID from the program before I could buy them. I entered it, got the books and they loaded them fine.

My problem is now I have a new Clie, and I want to still have them accessible on this unit. I installed MobiPocket on the new unit, and it has a different PID number. So when I try to open the books, I get an "error - Invalid ID" number. I tried calling and emailing the vendor but have gotten no response.

Has anyone had any experience with this problem before? I apologize if it has been covered before.

Thanks for the answer. I hope MobiPocket will help me since I purchased the books from Rosettas Books and not them. But I emailed their tech support and hopefully we can get it worked out.
