Hey folks,

Based on all of the good reviews / comments I am seeing on the NX-series, I am thinking about upgrading from my T615C to an NX60. What are the lowest prices out there right now? CompUSA is selling the NX60 online for $430... do you know of anything better? I see that there are a few on eBay in the $300 - $400 range, but I would rather go with a retailer.

Thanks in advance for any leads!

I bought mine at cost from a well known reseller for $415. (It pays to know some people on the inside!) The second best price I saw before that was around $440. I hadn't seen that CompUSA price before, but it looks like a great deal. I've noticed that some resellers have a policy about not accepting returns for Sony products, even if the item is DOA. Even when you open the box, there's a big sticker from Sony saying to not return your Clie to the place where you bought it from in case of a defect. Forget that! Go with a store that will let you do a return so you can get a brand new unit in exchange.

you can get it from: www.my.sony.com

Basiclly you just click links to gain points. Its easy and how I got my nx70. the nx60 is 425 and the nx70 is 500. It takes about an hr of clicking to gain the amt of points needed but you will be buying it direct from sony.

Thanks Hey Casey and Ark. At least I know I would be getting a resonable deal at CompUSA. That my.sony.com deal sounds a bit odd, but I'll probably give it a shot. Anyone else have recent NX60 pricing info?

Also, I picked up from other posts that Sony will be re-releasing the NX models with Palm OS 5.1. I can certainly wait a few weeks for that, though one would think that the existing NX models can be upgraded without too much trouble. Does anyone have any updated info on this OS 5.1 issue?

Thanks!

My wife just purchased an NX-60 from Staples for about $430(USD) using their price match promotion. All she had to do was bring in the advert from Comp USA's web site. She said they made her feel a bit uncomfortable because they didn't believe the price was so low, but she was persistent and got her way. Good luck with your purchase and let us know the cheapest price you were able to find.

Did your wife get it at a staples store or staples.com? I was told none of the stores caried the NX60 which is what I'm planning on getting. I have $380 credit at staples so naturally I'd like to get it there. But the ones I've seen only have the NX70 which I don't need.

Thanks
