Amazon had an availability date of Feb 28 briefly, but it now says not available. However take a look at the shipping weight listed here

32 pounds!!!!! Either there are lots of goodies in the box, lots of packing, or that new cover weighs a lot more than it looks :-))))

If you click on Request this item from another seller, it shows the Amazon price of $286.95. Don't know how accurate this is, but it's probably in the ballpark.

i saw that. very interesting... wonder why they changed the page.

one would think that sony would actually announce the release of the product before actually releasing it, though.
