Looking for a sanity-check here: It appears to me if I buy an extra cradle for $50, the actual AC adapter isn't included and is purchased separately. Is that the way you folks interpret it?

Thanks,
Keith Burton

When I purchased mine......It came with the cradle, the power brick and a power cord to go to the wall outlet.

Everything is included - I bought a spare to charge on the road.

I still wish I could USB charge!

Thank you. The illustration on Sony's website shows ONLY the cradle, so I wanted to be sure.

Thought they'd get sneaky, huh?

So did I...

Probably ought to get one myself...

I thought the same thing and bought an additional AC charger. So, now I have a spare. I have one at home and one at work, so I'll either send this one back or use it when I'm on the road.

I just received my cradle today that I ordered from sony. When I orderedit I thought the same thing because of the pics on the sony site. I figured that woul be REALLY stupid if they did not ship everything you needed for the cradle. Sure enough I got my cradle via fed ex 10 min. ago and it dies include everything, cradle, and adapters.

The usb cable is missing, the mini one. I can't believe they didn't include that.

Missing from what, the extra cradle? If so, you should know that it doesn't come with one. Your original UX should have one. Other than that the USB cables are sold separately.
