Hi everyone,

I'm despairing. I can't get the connection working. I would like to send and receive mails with Agendus Professional and I also would like to browse the internet (I tried WebToGo, but wasn't really successful, I had to deinstall it because it always killed my Clie and after reinstallation it was the same thing :o((()

So now I think I should try to establish the connection by hand, but I don't have a clue, how. Can someone help me? I looked at the other threads, but couldn't find this constellation.

Many thanks in advance for your answers,

Dorothee

My NZ90 communicated fine with my S55, but due to a hard-reset I had to do on the clie, my GPRS settings were lost. Hence I now have problems with GPRS(as I don't remember or have my old settings). But, you don't really point out what you are having problems with. What are you using? Bluetooth(you should)? Trying GPRS or pay-per-minute? Country?

Sorry for coming back so late!

I tried to get the connection working via Bluetooth. For the beginning, I'd be all happy to send and get e-mails. I need it primarily for Germany, but it should also work while I'm traveling abroad, especially in the USA.

I have to admit that this all seems really confusing for me (I can't understand why it has to be so complicated!). For a start, I thought I should get a stable connection between my handy and the Clie, and then I could decide how I want to connect the net.

When connecting my laptop to the internet, I choose between a lot of connections depending upon the daytime and the costs. I think this should work along the same principle with a palm?

I'm also thankful for any tip or hint, which connections are the best or are cheaper than others etc.

I use S55 with an NX 73 and it works fine, settings vary from one ISP to the other. What I can tell you is that I do not use the standard palm driver for S55 to connect via GPRS, I do use instead these settings:
Connect to Phone
Model Standard GSM
Speed: 57.600
Flow Control Automatic
Init String: AT+CGDCONT=1,"IP","uni.tim.it";^sgauth=1
