This boggels the NonT3 user mind, with this sliding effect....what does the wallpapers do? you have 480x320, 320x480, 320x320. Will it stretch out a 320x320 wallpaper for your extra space or will fill it with blank space, and for 480x320 going to 320x320 will it cut off some of the wallpaper?....hmmm brain hurting....cursed T3.

Hmm, you got me wondering too. How does the rotation work?? Does ZL just rotate the background making images and text look awkward in one direction or the other.

I would say it functions just like it would on an NX or NZ or such. You will load the background as a 480 X 320 but when closed it does not display the lower 160 X 320. I am just guessing.

load it as a 450x450 image, and then you wont get any tiling in any mode...

darhorn's suggestion sounds like a good one. The T3 just tiles the image - you see either 320x320 or 320x480 if it's open portrait, and either 320x320 or 320x320 + another 320x160 tiled portion of the pic next to it if you're in landscape mode.

Off to create something that won't need to tile....

btw, I redid the noia background in a 450x450 format, now the bottom bar will have to be redone... mostly to get rid of the bottom wavyness... as the icons dont match up in landscape mode...
