View Full Version : NX Camera Photo Sample
Was surprised at how good an image one could capture with the NX70V camera. Downscaled to 320x240 and contrast increased.

The camera is nice for most shots.. some though its better to have a nice real digital cam, for high res and/or low light shots.

Maybe the baby is happy with thoughts of getting a NX70 handeedown when lkim buys the NZ90 or whatever after...

This may be a dumb question, but does lower res = better quality?
Enjoy.

Generally, higher res=better quality. If your final print is small, you may not be able to notice. If you try to make a larger print, then a higher res picture will have more information and will therefore provide more detail.

I know what you trying to ask...It works this way - on making a blur image clear.
If you have a blurred image at 2053x1536, sharpen it and resize it to maybe 640x480 and you will most probably get a clear and sharp image.

is there an optimized setting for the camera of clie, cause my 640x480's seem slightly blurry. But the 320x240 are pretty darn
good... any ideas?
Enjoy.

Mind uploading the "original" picture. The last time a picture like this was posted it turned out to be a total hoax and the "originator" of the picture disappeared from the web site after being found out. There are way's of verifying that the original picutre actually came from an NX. This picture was modified last in Photoshop 7.
It's not that I don't trust you, but I don't trust many of the "high quality" picture claims after that little incedent.
Plus, it would be nice to see the quality of the original verses what was maybe possible with a little photoshopping...
(No offense intended.)

he said the contrast was increased... thus he used some photo editing program. This looks like pictures i have taken if i mess with the photo's contrast and shrink it top 320x240. Don't you guys agree?
Enjoy.

I know they said that it was "modified", and that's fine. I would just appreciate seeing the original. I've never been able to produce anything with that quality. I don't think it would hurt to post the original for comparison.
As requested, here is the original image.

some people are suck losers
For some reason, I'm not able attach photos to my replies. Thus the original photo people were asking for is missing.
I thought starting a new thread [NX Camera Photo Sample (original)] might work around the problem but it didn't work.
To get a around this problem, I uploaded to my web server a comparison of the original and modified photo and the URL is in the 2nd thread I started on this topic -
NX Camera Photo Samnple (original)
http://www.cliesource.com/forums/showthread.php?s=&threadid=705
The reason I'm not posting the image URL in this thread is so that continued discussions can continue in one thread only.

Your baby looks as happy as I did today when I won a bid online at Ebay for an NX73V. Even though I already own a Sony
DSC-P52 3.2 mp Digital Cam, I'm still foaming at the mouth waiting for my new NX to arrive. Babys can have their rattles and stuffed animals - I WANT MY CLIE!
