only backgroung picture, no launcher

I am looking for a way to install only a background to my NR70 :eek: .
I dont want to install any other Launcher. Silkskin cannot do that for me:( .
Please help:confused:

I don't think it's possible, as the built in launcher doesn't support backgrounds. have you checked palmgear for such a program?

To my knowledge, the PalmOS on a Clie doesn't support that. I tried to find a way to do that myself. I didn't want to pay for a launcher just to get a background image. I couldn't find anything, so I ended up researching launchers and found one with some additional features I was able to talk myself into buying.

OK, apparently there is no such a thing, so can someone tell me wath is the best buy, reliability is verry important to me, I dont need an heavy and buggy launcher, but just somthing lite and intelligent :cool:

Seems like many people like ZLauncher, and it is my favorite too, but check out http://www.LaunchPlug.com and read the reviews there. It might also be a good idea to downloads the demos and see which one you like best as everyone has very different tastes.

Zlauncher, it's the cheapest at $12.95 and arguably the best at any price.

I would put in a vote in for YiShow. You can create some great looks with it and the utilities (especially JPG viewing and file management) have made my Clie a lot easier to use.

I went for Yishow after having read all those positive reviews here, and I must admit so far I haven't regretted it. It is really great value for money (even though I would have taken it for free as well ;)
It makes using files and programes so much easier

Yes, BackDrop (EZ=black-white/GZ=colour) supports that, but not for Sony Clié NR- or NX-series.
