I would assume so, if it doesn't then what's the point of having a personal entertainment organiser...

These models do not come with the Movie Player, not even on the CD.

My guess is Sony put only the software on this model that it thinks executives want. Therefore no Movie Player.

Maybe this was based on its experience with the TG50, as they both have the same target market. Sony could have polled TG50 users and found that most of them never used the player. Therefore it would have just taken up RAM and not been used by most of the people who owned the device.

It isn't the end of the world. Kinoma Player isn't as good but it is available for those who want a movie player on their handheld.

Having all the apps from the NX60 was something TG50 users used to justify the model.

"The TG50 sucks, it is so lame." -abosco

"Why, I have every app you have except camera, and its the same speed too!" -s_n_m

I am very proud of movieplayer. I always use it and warefare to get people into POS.

Not including movieplayer (its free for sony to include it!) is a terrible waste.

It would have taken up a lot of RAM to provide an application that most of its intended users aren't interested in.

Correction, ROM. Movieplayer resides in ROM.
