I am trying to put an MPEG4 to my NX.

I have converted my DVD with the "Microsoft Mpeg 4 V1" codec

I then use image converter to convert the video to my NX.

However, when i go to play the clip in "movie play" the first frame of the video is shown. when i click play, the current position pointer jumps to the end, as if their was only 1 frame in the video.

Does anyone understand what is happening?

Thanks a lot,

Paul Robinson.

that's the problem when the wrong encoding has been done. FOr example the divx codec was used to encode. You must be using the wrong codec. I know, mpeg4 is supposed to be .mqv, but i guess you can't go about it the way your going about it, you'll have to rip to mpeg first and then convert unless you wanna play around with a few settings.

Enjoy.

Thanks a lot for the reply,

I tried to encode in mpeg 1 first but i can't find a free mpeg 1 encoder anywhere.

Do you know of anywhere that i can get the codec? Preferable one which can be used with any encoding software?

Thanks again for your help.

Paul.
