Really dead Clie

I have tried everything from the forums.. soft reset, hard reset, disconnecting the batteries..... however I cannot revive my Clie.
All that I get is the "palm powered" trademark screen.

Strange, as I left it in perfect condition over the weekend on its cradle, only to find it dead on Monday! I am devastated, as it is my daily work tool.

Any miracle advise?

Did it get hit with a surge? was it at work or at home? If you don't have a service plan then you might be able to collect on home owners insurance.....
